Hello all!

Funcom was proudly presenting their newest game The Secret World in a hugely recognized conference called GDC last week(Game Developer's Conference). The press was really amazed about TSW, but havent yet announced any new info. That fact is due to an embargo Funcom put on the press. Basically they are allowed to release all the new info and tidbits on the 15th of March when the embargo is pulled off.

I got a sneak peak on the new info and i gotta say, there will be some quite amazing stuff coming at our way. I havent been able to get all the info, but what i have heard, there may be info about the Crafting. Now Crafting has been something that Funcom havent talked about yet, mainly due to the fact, that they failed miserably with their last MMO Crafting Mechanism. From what i've heard, the crafting mechanism will be something completely new and refreshing and AMAZING.

I have been really sceptic about this new MMO since i have played Age of Conan for sometime and i have seen what could go wrong with this new one, but i gotta say, my head has started to turn the other way. I have heard so much positive about the game, its almost impossible to not to hype it.

Launch o'hoy!

So,

As many of you may have noticed, Funcom have announced the launch day for the highly anticipated MMO The Secret World.

The MMO will see daylight in June 19th. It was postponed mainly due to the fact, that they want to have a highly polished launch, which is starting to become more and more the norm in the industry.

The upcoming launch will also bring forth the Open-Beta, which will propably be held 2-4 weeks before the D-day. Hopefully you have applied to the Beta, since there has been almost 1 million subscribers to the beta. It may be a little bit crowded!

TSW here we come!
